The Maine are an American rock band who have been professionally earnest since 2007. Formed in Arizona (sunny, emotionally confusing), they built a loyal following by writing big, heart-on-sleeve choruses and then refusing to disappear. Their sound lives somewhere between pop-rock glow and late-night existentialism, with a strong commitment to touring like it’s a personality trait. Independent by choice, dramatic by design, The Maine prove that sincerit, when sustained long enough, becomes a kind of quiet rebellion.
