ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Joe Jackson, born in 1954 in Burton-on-Trent, England, rose from pub gigs in Portsmouth to international acclaim as one of music’s most versatile artists. After studying at London’s Royal Academy of Music, he burst onto the scene with Look Sharp! in 1979. His career has since spanned genres—from new wave and swing to jazz, classical, and pop—with landmark albums like Night and Day and Body and Soul. A Grammy winner, author, and composer, Jackson continues to evolve creatively. Following his 2024 What a Racket! tour, he will release Hope and Fury in April 2026, reaffirming his enduring artistry and restless innovation.
